Georgia Affleck
Georgia-Affleck
Georgia is originally from Invercargill and after completing her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing decided it was time to move a little further (but not to far) afield, to our Queenstown clinic. She has over three and half years’ experience with small animals from working with us initially and then heading to Nelson to work in a veterinary hospital. She loves working with wildlife and also enjoys the bond owners have with their animals. She also enjoys how the animals perk up when their owners visit them in hospital, or the happiness when they are reunited after a long stay! Outside of work she owns a ‘special needs’ little black cat named Frannie. She was found as a tiny kitten on the side of the road in Queenstown, and she took her home for the night to nurse her…and never took her back. She has epilepsy, and is deaf, but she’s perfect! She is also learning to play the guitar and enjoys pottery and walks around Queenstown.
