Veterinarian
Heather graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2019 and is original from Christchurch but has already spent a lot of time in Hawkes Bay visiting her partner of eight years and his family. As a veterinary student she spent time at our Havelock North clinic and had such a great time with everyone there, she knew that it was the friendly work team environment she was looking for. Fortunately for both her and us, we were looking to hire when she was looking for a graduate position. As a student she was involved with the Massey University Wildlife Club, the Student Emergency and Critical Care Club, Radiology Club and the Student Veterinary Business Society. As she is starting her career she is excited to have so many experience veterinary professionals working alongside her within VetEnt. She currently doesn’t have any specialty areas, however has always had an interest in ophthalmology.  Growing up she was exposed to a large portion of the veterinary industry as her father also has a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Massey University. One of her favorite things about her job is meeting everyone's beautiful animals alongside helping them to live their best life. She also enjoys building strong relationships with both clients and patients alike. Her pets are currently living in Christchurch with her family and they include a 3 year old Samoyed called Poppy and a 16 year old British shorthair cat, Winston, whose birthday is on the same day as hers! Albeit a few years later. She is currently living with her parent's- in -law's dog Sybil, who is a 13 year old spoodle.

Hollie is originally from a Sheep and Beef farm situated on the western shores of Lake Taupo. Her favourite thing about working at VetEnt is the variety of the role; from helping vet nurses, chatting with farmers, cuddling cute puppies all whilst working with a great team. She is very passionate about the industry as she owns quite a few animals herself, including; one cat, two dogs, six chickens, eight cattle and ten sheep. Outside of work she enjoys taking photos, water skiing at Lake Taupo and spending time in her garden.
