Orla Fitzpatrick

I have worked in the Queenstown clinic since March 2010. I graduated from Dublin Veterinary College, Ireland in 2005. I went straight into mixed practice after graduating and worked in Northern Ireland for over 2 years. After this I travelled around South East Asia, and ended up in Australia where I worked as a locum vet for a year. While in Oz I visited and subsequently fell in love with New Zealand. So, I went home to work around the UK and came back to NZ a year later with the hope of staying indefinitely. As a locum I have gained a lot of experience by working in busy referral hospitals, emergency clinics and branch practices all over Australia, the UK and Ireland. I have an interest in Feline Medicine, Ophthalmology, Urology and Pathology, and hope to specialize in one or two of these in the future. As with most veterinarians  Animal Welfare is my top priority.
