Clinic Support
Selina originally worked for us looking after our boarding animals and has also been a client for years, she has always had a love for animals so when the support role in our Cromwell clinic came up, she knew it was a role for her. Previously she has worked in boarding kennels and provided private pet sitting services within homes looking after pets whilst the owners were away. She enjoys making it a pleasant experience within the clinic for pets and clients alike. As well as meeting the animals and clients, every day she receives a lot of love. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and getting out into nature whenever possible. She has three rehomed animals, a five year old greyhound cross called Sam who is a gentle giant. A one year old staffy cross called Gus who is an energetic bouncy pup and lastly a seven year old cat called Garfield who is a ginger ninja and has a special ability to sniff out food anywhere and literally eats anything! She also has three goldfish; Buttercup, Mr T and Henry.

Vet Nurse/Receptionist

I joined the Turangi clinic in 2002 after selling my own business.  I completed my vet nursing through Otago and also took an active role in getting the Turangi SPCA up and running becoming a welfare inspector. Holding down the fort in the Turangi clinic certainly provides its daily challenges but I love my job and have a great team of colleagues. When not working I enjoying walking our three dogs or escaping to the beach with the fishing torpedo, a nice bottle and a good book.

Sharon Foor
Vet Nurse / Clinic Coordinator

Sharon emigrated from West Yorkshire, England in June 2006 with her husband Rob and continues to embrace the country lifestyle in the Malvern area. With a Bachelor of Equine Science and Management behind her Sharon began working at the clinic in December 2007 in a nursing role that often took her out in the field. Her position here indulges her passion for working with animals and enables Sharon to meet the locals and get a true sense of our community. In mid 2009 Sharon eased back her workload to the occasional Saturday to invest more time in fostering pre-school children and to pursue other interests such as art, walking and cycling. We still miss working alongside Sharon during the week but look forward to her organised notes that await us on a Monday morning and her visits during the odd morning tea break.
